Journey to Gold

I am beyond excited to share my incredible journey towards earning my Girl Scout Gold Award with you all! It all started back in 1st grade when I took my first step into the world of Girl Scouts by learning the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Click here to watch a video of the process.

I remember my time as a Daisy, where we had memorable experiences like daughter-dad outings, beach clean-ups in Galveston, Christmas caroling, and more.

Brownies

As a troop, we tackled various missions to earn different badges. The journey continued as I proudly earned my Brownie Award:

Spending a night at the museum was another unforgettable experience!

Cadettes

As a Cadette, I collaborated with two other Girl Scouts in my troop, and we built a little library as part of our Silver Award project. It was truly inspiring and taught me the value of teamwork.

I am incredibly thankful to my Gold Award Mentor, Helene Gallaway, for her unwavering support and guidance throughout my project. Her impact on my journey will be long-lasting, and I feel fortunate to have had such an amazing mentor.

A heartfelt thank you to my amazing troop leaders, Mrs. Vasquez and Mrs. De la Rosa, for all the hard work, dedication, and passion they both put into making our Girl Scout troop an unforgettable experience.

To my entire team, Mrs. Sudkamp, Mr. Odom, Mrs. Bogard, my brother, family, friends and supporters, without you, this project would not be possible. 

I’m grateful for every lesson learned, every badge earned, and every friendship made along the way – each milestone holds a special place in my heart.
